What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll oversee the commercial performance of major projects, ensuring financial control, risk management, and strategic alignment. Your role will include:
- Leading and auditing commercial teams to maximise project returns
- Developing and implementing commercial strategies
- Negotiating contracts and resolving disputes
- Managing CVRs, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Collaborating with senior leadership to drive project success
- Coaching and mentoring your team to deliver excellence
You’ll bring a deep understanding of construction contracts, procurement strategies, and cost management principles. Strong presentation skills and the ability to produce accurate, insightful reports are essential. You’ll be confident using MS Office tools and capable of delegating and empowering your team while offering support and guidance when needed.
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in commercial management within the construction industry, including specialist knowledge of commercial operations and contracts. You’ll have a proven track record of leading commercial teams and managing all aspects of project delivery. Experience in building and managing large teams, setting strategy, and driving performance is key.
