What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of our fabrication detailing team, producing accurate drawings and supporting project delivery. Your role will include:
- Creating fabrication and installation drawings using Tekla or SolidWorks
- Interpreting architectural and structural drawings
- Liaising with fabrication and site teams to ensure buildability
- Managing drawing revisions and client approvals
- Supporting design coordination and attending client meetings
- Working with a range of materials including glass, timber, and metals
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with experience in steelwork detailing, ideally with a background in fabrication or site installation. You’ll be confident using AutoCAD and 3D modelling tools like Tekla or SolidWorks. A degree in structural or civil engineering is desirable but not essential. You’ll have a good understanding of steel sections, finishes, and coatings, and be comfortable working to tight deadlines. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage your own workload are key
