What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager, you’ll lead the commercial and financial management of our construction projects, ensuring profitability, compliance, and strategic alignment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete analysis
• Administering contracts (JCT, NEC), variations, and final accounts
• Leading procurement strategies and subcontractor selection
• Producing commercial reports and supporting governance
• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
• Supporting dispute resolution and legal compliance
• Mentoring quantity surveyors and supporting team development
• Contributing to business development and client relationships

What We’re Looking For

You’ll have at least five years’ experience in quantity surveying, ideally within general construction or infrastructure. A degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management is essential, and experience with large-scale or public sector projects is a plus.

You’ll be confident using commercial software (e.g. Candy, CostX, Bluebeam), interpreting technical drawings, and managing supplier relationships. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects are key.
