Directs Procurement Manager

At Kilnbridge, we’re looking for a commercially focused Directs Procurement Manager to lead our Direct Materials Procurement team and drive strategic sourcing across the Group. What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Group Head of Procurement, you’ll lead the Directs Procurement team and oversee all direct procurement activities across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing the Direct Materials Procurement Buying team
- Establishing and managing Direct Supply Chain Agreements
- Negotiating terms, SLAs, and KPIs to deliver commercial value
- Driving strategic procurement initiatives and risk mitigation
- Gathering and applying market intelligence to inform decisions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align procurement strategies
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Supporting procurement transformation and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring proven experience in leading procurement teams and developing 1–3 year strategies, ideally within the construction sector. A CIPS qualification is desirable, and strong legal and contractual knowledge is essential.
You’ll be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and influencing skills, able to build strong relationships across the business and supply chain. A continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive performance are key.
