Mobile Plant Fitter
Are you a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter ready to keep critical machinery running smoothly across major construction projects?
At Kilnbridge, we’re looking for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join our K-Plant team, supporting operations across various sites and our E16 workshop. You’ll play a vital role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing plant machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work independently or as part of a team, travelling to sites or operating from our E16 workshop. Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and repairing a wide range of plant machinery
- Diagnosing faults and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Conducting inspections and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with clients and maintaining high levels of customer service
- Adhering to Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices
- Supporting sustainability goals through efficient operations
What We’re Looking For
You’ll have proven experience in plant maintenance and repairs, ideally in a mobile fitter role. You’ll be confident working independently, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Essential qualifications include:
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance (or Level 2 with adjusted salary)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS Card
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Familiarity with equipment like excavators, dumpers, concrete pumps, and generators is a plus.
