Kilnbridge is looking for an experienced Project Director to take full responsibility for delivering a major civils project in a controlled environment. This is a senior leadership role where your expertise will ensure safe, profitable, and timely delivery of a complex scheme.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Operations Director you’ll lead the project team and ensure safe, profitable, and timely completion of works.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Construction Managers
- Driving project control and monitoring systems
- Ensuring engineering concepts, buildability, and value engineering are fully considered
- Liaising with clients to meet and exceed expectations
- Directing the commercial team to secure financial success
- Supporting recruitment, training, and development of project personnel
- Providing input during tender processes and attending client interviews
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly experienced leader with a proven track record in major construction projects. You should have a strong background in infrastructure and controlled environments, with experience in airports.
Exposure to fabricated reinforced concrete and structural steel at some point in your career is essential, along with excellent commercial knowledge.
- You will be a visible leader with strong commercial acumen
- A proven ability to build teams
- Excellent client management skills.
- Experience managing project values in excess of £50m from a direct delivery perspective is essential
- CSCS card & appropriate tickets
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and extensive knowledge of modern construction methods and processes are required.
The ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and workforce planning is critical.
