We’re seeking a number of Quantity Surveyor's to join our Commercial team and support the delivery of major projects across the country. If you are based in the North, Midlands or South of the UK, we want to hear from you!
What you’ll do:
Manage commercial delivery from handover to final account, ensuring control of budgets, costs and progress.
Carry out site visits, assess progress, value variations and prepare accurate reports.
Handle all commercial and contractual duties, including negotiations, settlements and payment processes.
Procure and manage subcontractors, maintain records and support efficient project delivery.
Provide commercial insight to estimating and lead elements of the bid process, including strategy, documentation and client presentations.
Maintain risk registers and support collaborative problem‑solving across teams.
Lead, mentor and develop Assistant/Trainee Quantity Surveyors.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and uphold Kilnbridge values.
What you’ll need:
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction and strong understanding of commercial/contractual requirements.
Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or equivalent industry experience.
Strong analytical, numerical and communication skills.
Experience with valuations, claims, variations and financial reporting.
Knowledge of construction processes (e.g., M&E, fabrication, steelwork, concrete cutting, fire protection, rail).
Ability to manage disputes professionally, prioritise workload and produce accurate documentation.
Competent with MS Office and commercial reporting tools.
A proactive, supportive leadership style and alignment with Kilnbridge values.
