The Role
Sustainability is no longer a reporting exercise – it's a critical part of how major infrastructure and construction projects are delivered. At Kilnbridge, we're looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Sustainability Advisor who wants to make a genuine impact across some of the UK's most significant and technically challenging projects.
This is a highly visible role where you'll influence project teams, engage directly with clients and stakeholders, and help shape the environmental and social legacy of our work. You'll be at the forefront of driving carbon reduction, resource efficiency, circular economy principles and meaningful social value outcomes, helping ensure sustainability is embedded from planning through to project delivery.
Working closely with our Head of Sustainability and senior operational teams, you'll provide expert guidance across multiple projects, champion best practice and play a key role in delivering Kilnbridge's sustainability ambitions.
If you're looking for a role where you can influence decisions, build relationships, drive change and leave a positive legacy on projects, communities and the environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Supporting project teams to deliver outstanding environmental performance while meeting legislative, client and company requirements
Driving carbon reduction, resource efficiency, waste minimisation and circular economy initiatives across project delivery
Undertaking audits, inspections and compliance reviews, identifying opportunities to continuously improve performance

Previous experience in environmental, sustainability or social value roles within construction, infrastructure or related sectors
Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance requirements and environmental management systems
Experience of ISO 14001, BREEAM or similar sustainability frameworks

Experience undertaking audits, inspections and environmental risk management activities
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels
The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment
